In this session of the monthly Cafe series, co-hosts Brooke Shoo and Juliet Trail will lead a stimulating discussion of complex coincidences, such as layered, multi-part, repeating (“serial”), and meta-coincidences. Not every story is simple, and not every meaningful coincidence is a one-off! Join us to learn more about some of the interesting ways that complex coincidences unfold, and share some of your own thoughts and experiences during the small-group break out sessions.

About Our Co-Hosts

Brooke Shoo is an analytical, science-minded spiritualist who regularly experiences complex synchronicities. She loves thinking about patterns and big pictures and how science fits in with the spiritual world.

Juliet Trail is the Executive Director of The Coincidence Project, with a focus on the connections between nature, coincidences, and compassion. She is also a trained Mindful Self-Compassion teacher. She has taught and presented across the US and in the UK, India, Brazil, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Rwanda.

The Coincidence Project hosts Coincidence Cafe online via Zoom each month, on the third Saturday, from 11am-12:30 pm Eastern Time (US). At Coincidence Cafe, we explore topics relating to meaningful coincidence, synchronicity and serendipity, with new hosts each month. We make time during each session to share our own stories together in small groups, inspired by the topic that month. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
