The conceptualization of synchronicity by Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung and its central tenet of acausal meaning challenged his credibility as a scientist. His formal definition focused therefore on a scientific exploration of the acausal connection and the presence of archetypes as essential structuring features.

But the experience of deep meaning that accompanies big synchronicities possesses a deeply emotional feeling tone that is often lost in such intellectual discussions. In this session of the monthly Speaker Series, we explore the phenomenon of meaning from the perspective of feminine structure, not to contradict Jung’s approach but to round it out through a holistic, soul-inclusive approach.

BIO: Cynthia Cavalli, Ph.D. is an executive leadership coach and transformation consultant. Her education includes degrees in physics, business administration, and human systems. Her corporate experience includes nearly 30 years in aerospace engineering, project management, and strategy development. An avid student of Jungian psychology, she incorporates the principles of synchronicity and symbolism from dreams and mythology into her coaching practice. Dr. Cavalli is passionate about the deep interconnectedness of all things, and offers seminars and workshops weaving together insights from complexity science and ancient wisdom traditions. She loves guiding people undergoing radical change through deep inner work.
