It Was Like My Soul Recognized His

I’ve experienced many synchronicities since meeting a man. Even the way we met was a coincidence.

Here’s how we met: He used to see me for years while coming and going from work; then no more. Then last year, he and a colleague bought a field in the same area where I have mine (where I work). One day at the end of last summer, I walked past him at the field but didn’t see him.

He recognized me and began driving around to search for me, but he turned left towards the street while I turned right to go back to my field, so he couldn’t find me. A couple of months later, I was at the field working my dogs, and he drove exactly in front of it. He didn’t have to take that particular road, but by coincidence he did and finally he was able to talk to me.

It seemed we had known each other for ages. It was like my soul recognized his. Then other strange things started happening, like one night in winter I woke up because I couldn’t sleep and suddenly felt hot. The next day, I discovered the same thing happened to him that night.
