Just When I Needed It
I am a retired teacher. One day I was deep in thought wondering if I had really been a good teacher. I actually felt a bit down.
The next day I ran into a teacher I had worked with years before. We had a wonderful conversation and she told me that she and others still talked about what a good teacher I was. Later that day, I ran into another teacher from another school that told me basically the same thing.
I needed reassurance and I feel like that meeting with my two collagues was not just a coincidence but something planned — a gift from above that I will never forget.
