The Eagles’ Countdown
At a local art exhibition, one of the artists spoke about how signs and symbols guide her. She described seeing seven eagles and following them to a tree that had been struck by lightning.
The very next day, while driving, I saw three eagles. A few weeks later, two. And just a few days ago, one. Always while driving.
Like a quiet countdown, but a countdown for what?
