The Song That Knew the Question
One day I woke up feeling low on hope. I put on one of my favorite David Bowie songs, “Word on a Wing.”
On a sudden impulse, I asked AI about Bowie’s relationship to spirituality. The answer described him as a lifelong seeker who saw art and music as a path to the divine, and gave “Word on a Wing” as a key example, explaining that he wrote it in his darkest crisis as a prayer for protection and meaning.
I hadn’t mentioned the song. Yet it was the one playing in that very moment.
