Choosing Love and Being Answered
I was feeling heavy with sadness about a close and troubled relative who rarely reaches out and often doesn’t reply to calls or texts, despite all my efforts.
I told a friend I didn’t want to harden my heart, that I wanted to keep choosing love over hurt. An hour later, that very person called for the first time in months.
They opened up, asked about my life, and for a while it felt just like old times.
